  21. I just saw a post not too long ago, maybe 2 days ago, talking about him being sick and Kelly Clarkson announcing she’s taking time to be with him due to him being ill. I just wasn’t expecting this or even him to be this sick.

  23. Oof that’s so sad. My ex brother in law put my sister in law through hell but he fought lung cancer and my nephew lost his dad. It was awful – despite everything my SIL said she wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

  27. 15 year cancer survivor. I was diagnosed in my early 40s. Cancer doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t care who you are or what you have going on in your life.

    It just decides to show up, uninvited I might add!!

    I’m very sorry that Brandon has passed and even more so at such a young age. My prayers are with his kids and loved ones. Even for his ex, Kelly this has to be tough. He’s the father of four children from two marriages.

  28. Does anyone know what type of cancer he had?

    Edit: apparently TMZ confirmed that he had melanoma. GET YOUR ANNUAL SKIN CHECKS PEOPLE, if caught early it’s fully treatable. It’s even more imperative to get routine skin checks starting early in life (even teens) if there is a family history of melanoma because some types are genetically predisposed.
