The negotiation will continue.
In meantime, let’s focus on strengthening Switzerland specially in services sector where we import US services more than we export.
Switzerland buys 65 B USD worth services from US & sells only 35B USD. Is this an opportunity for Switzerland to create local jobs in service industry and reduce US imports? Of course depends on what exactly we import

Maybe allies are helpful occasionally?
Is it considered imported services if the companies and datacenters are in Switzerland? The reciprocation would be to house facilities in the US and funnel the money back to Switzerland, just as they do here.
I must admit I am not entirely unhappy about them staying somewhat stubborn and yet professional.
In the meantime, what do you guys think about switching to Linux and ditch some software from the USA? [https://feddit.org](https://feddit.org) is also pretty cool.

Way to go. Start with the easy and cheap stuff. Switching from WhatsApp to Threema and Gmail to Protonmail comes at nearly no cost. I know there are more people on WhatsApp but you would be surprised how many contacts you will find on Threema.
With Digitec Galaxus instead of Amazon and Twint instead of Paypal, CH is already doing better than most countries. Make sure to leave it like that and skip amazon / temu.
