A drone attack in Russia’s Krasnodar region has caused widespread flight disruptions at Sochi International Airport, delaying both domestic and international services.

The airport’s online departures board showed that 55 flights bound for the Black Sea resort city were rescheduled following the incident, Caliber.Az reports. 

The delays affected flights from several major Russian cities, including Moscow, Perm, Surgut, and Yekaterinburg, as well as international routes to Antalya, Türkiye, and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Sochi is one of Russia’s most popular tourist destinations, attracting millions of visitors annually.
