Commenting on Russia’s bloody strikes on peaceful Ukrainian cities, Lukashenko began accusing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of not even knowing where the drone would fly.

“They (the drones – ed.) fly into our territory from one side or the other, we have already recorded about fifty. One drone passed through Belarusian territory and fell somewhere in Lithuania or Latvia. They howled, screamed — we opened everything for them, go check if there are Belarusians there or not,” Lukashenko said.

Drones over Lithuania

Earlier in July, several unknown drones flew into Lithuanian airspace from Belarusian territory. Visually, they resembled Shaheds.

The latest such incident occurred on July 28 during a massive Russian drone attack on Ukraine.

On August 1, a drone was found at a training ground in Lithuania after it had crashed.

It was most likely a Russian Gerbera — a decoy model that visually resembles the Shahed.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gintautas Budrys emphasized that Russia is using such methods to spread aggression onto NATO territory.
