    You’re telling me Hamas infiltrated the highest levels of German politics and implemented an operative as Chancellor?

    Truly, the threat of Hamas knows no bounds. Israel has no choice but to carpet bomb Germany. Citizens will receive fliers telling them to evacuate, but keep in mind the places they evacuate to will also be bombed.

  2. It sounds good in theory but it remains to be seen how it will be enforced.

    Will they monitor how the other military supplies will be used or will they just take a pinky promise that the idf will only use them to maim and kill people in the west bank and not in gaza?

  3. The double standard is mind boggling. Then why not normalizing all relations with Russia as well except the military tech that can be used in Ukraine?

    Whatever was done to Russia should be done to Israel if not worse

  4. Very recently, Germany [deported people](https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2025/apr/03/germany-deporting-pro-palestine-eu-citizens-chilling-new-step) for protesting against military exports to Israel.

    The Berlin police in particular have been overly physical and heavy handed in dealing with people asking for an end to military exports to Israel.

    So should we expect the Berlin police to crack down on Friedrich Merz given this new development? I mean, anything less would be a despicable double standard right?

  5. While this is great news it’s crazy that they seem to imply the pogrom being carried out by settlers/IDF in the West Bank is ok. Just stop sending Israel weapons period.

  6. In a year’s time it will be “Germany/France/UK will recognise Palestinian state if Israel kills the final 1% of Palestinians!”

    Western nations are literally guiding Israel on the path of genocide, like a “how to genocide for dummies!”

    ANY other nation in the world would have been sanctioned 100%, military intervention and regime change by now.

  7. This is significant in that Germany was the 2nd most staunch supporter. What is puzzling and what males it seems like more a domestic appeasement is why did they not do this coordinated with the EU?
