Man having an asthma attack can be pretty scary as an adult when you have your meds and know what to do.

Expected some nutjob overly strict Asian parent ignoring the asthma or taking the inhaler as a punishment, not a crack addict turning the kid’s inhaler into a crack pipe.
Interesting to see social workers were already involved. It seems like for most kids, social services and the whole system of protecting children from abuse (including teachers) are useless, often even non-existent, at least from anyone I know who was abused.
