Not keep slaves, that was what happened when someone was elected that they thought might consider taking away their slaves.
Fun fact it was not about state rights because they wanted their laws enforced in the north. And expand it to other states.
If ANYONE has ever been to one of the protests where it became wide spread property damage, you quickly find out the people vandalizing and looting were not there to protest, they were there to cause mayham and loot.
During the BLM protests, people were pushing people out of the way trying to blockade their store holding signs saying “Black owned” to loot the place.
**It’s not protestors vandalizing, its hooligans showing up to use it as an excuse.**
