1. Submission statement: the us has negotiated a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The deal includes a us funded and maintained corridor allowing acess to Azerbaijans exclave through Armenia. The deal also includes significant us investment in both countries

Imo: this is a big win for trump, by doing this he has pulled Armenia away from Russia and iran by stepping in as a partner, and has tied Azerbaijan closer into the western network, preventing russian expansion to the south and adding another axis that Russia will have to manage in order to mobilize. This is threat axis 4 now, forcing Russia to spread thinner.

8. The deal is deeply tilted against Armenia & Pashinyan is hated for kowtowing to Azerbaijan & Turkey.

   There is a risk of Armenia once again moving to Russia & Iran after Pashinyan considering how the deal will squeeze Armenia in the coming years.

9. This must be something like the fifth or sixth peace arrangement that the guy in the White House is trying to engineer. He desperately wants a Nobel peace prize to burnish his résumé. It all looks so foolish, especially I’ll end the war in Ukraine the first day I take office.

10. I give it a couple months till the Az media is calling for Armenias invasion, making Trump look weak yet again. Armenians on every level should see this as a trial to real peace, also as a possible tool for Alieyv to protest that it was broken by the Armenian side for means to Invade. That, Pashinyan can hopefully balance defence and ths situation.

11. To recap. No, it’s not AI, my prose is crude.

    1, Azerbaijan ethnically cleansed 150k Armenians in Sept 2023 (after the disastrous for Armenia war of 2020). Nobody cared because it’s not Gaza Arabs, but still, it was the second Armenian genocide.

    2, Armenia stands no chance because both Russia and Iran (her potential allies) have been destroyed by the Ukraine and Israel respectively.

    3, Trump is literally saving what remains of Armenia because America generally hates genocide (even though without America, Armenia simply will cease to exist sooner or later, imo it’s pointless to protect unsalvageable species in this Nature which is harsh).

    4, America would like a springboard of operations against Russia or Iran in the Caucasus, Zangezur might become a large military base for the invasion of Iran.

    All in all, a curious development. Liberals with the Trump derangement syndrome will likely ignore the prevention of genocide, and conservatives will also ignore the inherent warmongering of a US military base on Iran’s doorstep (Qatar is still separated from Iran by sea, you know).
