[Applause] The Ukrainian president handed out awards to both the soldiers and the medical staff for their service to the country. Recent Russian attacks have killed dozens of civilians across Ukraine. But there’s hope that this week could turn out to be a pivotal moment in the war. Washington’s special envoy Steve Wickoff is due to visit Russia midweek as the United States pressure Moscow to agree to a ceasefire. Donald Trump’s deadline is set for this Friday. He wants the Kremlin to agree to work towards ending the war or else the US president says he’ll impose new sanctions on Russia. Whit’s message will be to the Russians. Is there anything they can do to avoid sanctions at this point? We got to get a deal where people stop getting killed. They’re wy characters and they’re pretty good at avoiding sanctions. So, we’ll see what happens. Witkov has met Russian President Vladimir Putin multiple times. On Monday, the Kremlin said another meeting was possible and it considered talks with Witkov to be important, substantial, and helpful.

  2. Felt bad for the man with no legs. All this war, politics will be gone. Maybe in 5 years putin and eu leaders will shake hands in Brussels. But that man will never have his life back.

  4. When will Western media get the fact that the USA has no leverage on Russia whatsoever.The Russisns have stated their terms for peace. All they need now is to finally know where the USA currently stands in the conflict. Anyone expecting a ceasefire is very deluded.
