  8. If you give Putin any part of what he wants for territory, it means Russia will take a small break, rearm, use some of the lessons they learned and try again. We learned this from WW2 and Hitler. People keep waiting for Putin to be reasonable just like they did with Hitler but at the 3.5 year mark, he ain’t a reasonable dude and he never will be.

  11. Ukraine and the EU also will never agree to that, and both Trump and Putin know it. This is pure charade.

    The EU will never agree to it because it will set a precedent that hangs over the EU for the as long as Russia remains authoritarian (forever? who knows).

    The Ukraine will never agree to it for obvious reasons.

  35. An agreement with Russia means nothing. They agreed to never invade Ukraine in exchange for their nuclear weapons. Russia violated that agreement. Had Ukraine had their nuclear arsenal, there’s a chance that Russia would not have invaded them in 2014. Or 2022.
