A new €45 million resort will be constructed in the Algarve Golden Triangle, one of the most luxurious areas in Portugal, which includes Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo, and Vilamoura.
The new resort will be called Fonte Santa Resort and will be developed by Lisbon-based HP Invest. The company is part of the Harland & Poston Group, which develops projects for housing, hotels, and other services.
Fonte Santa Resort will be located between Trafal and Vale do Lobo, according to a report by Essential Business, and it is expected to have a construction area of 6094,73 m2. The four-star hotel has 160 bedrooms, and the works started in September 2024, with them expected to be finished by December 2026.
Beyond Architects will be in charge of the resort’s design, which will be integrated into the landscape, with great green and open-air areas. The concern with the environment will also be a priority; therefore, the Fonte Sara Resort will include solar panels and work on water recycling systems. The objective of the company is to store rainwater and treated wastewater to water the gardens and green areas.
