Aldis Salavejs spent 11 days on the road, battling swollen knees, numb hands and wet weather during the solo journey.
In a blog post, he described the trip as both “torture” and rewarding, saying he pushed hard in the final stretch to make it home for his father’s birthday.
Mr Salavejs covered 675km in the last three days, camping in gardens and using plastic bags to keep his belongings dry.
He thanked his personal assistant, Tabo, for helping him navigate remote forests in Poland and offering encouragement along the way.
Riding without music or podcasts, Mr Salavejs said he had time to reflect. He described the ride as a series of ups and downs, where the only way through was to keep pedalling.
He also expressed gratitude to those who supported him during the journey, saying their messages meant more than they could know.
He ended his blog by encouraging donations and reminding readers of the value of good health.
