Very nice town. And the beautiful Serbian Orthodox church Our Lady of Ljeviš from the 14th century, part of the unesco world heritage.
I loved Kosovo. Pejë is really beautiful as well.

Getting up to the fort at the top is a hell of a trip, but worth it for the view!
A fellow US soldier who was stationed at Camp Bondsteel described Kosovo as reminding him of a cleaner version of Iraq. Does this sound accurate to others who have visited both countries?
I got stranded here 10 years ago on a winter night with no accommodation. Was helped by some young lads who knew a guy who ran a seasonal guest house, which they opened up especially for me for a night.
The castle at the top of the hill provides some amazing views of the city which has a beautiful Ottoman era vibe (if I’m not mistaken!)
I was there two weeks ago. Fantastic place-old town is gorgeous. Dinner at Sarajeva Steak House on the river near the old stone bridge was really good and ridiculously inexpensive.
