Volleyball, Kosovo defeats Slovakia in first match under Montenegrin coach
The Kosovo A national men’s volleyball team suffered a 0–3 defeat to Slovakia, in the match held tonight at the “Bill Clinton” sports palace in Ferizaj, as part of the CEV EuroVolley 2026 qualifiers.
The sets ended with the scores 20-25, 14-25 and 13-25, showing the visitors’ dominance throughout the match.
This was the debut of Montenegrin coach Darko Prebiracevic in charge of the national team, just a few days after taking charge of the team.
Despite the defeat, the Kosovo boys showed commitment and desire to compete against a high-level opponent like Slovakia, which has long experience in European competitions.
Kosovo will conclude this qualifying cycle on August 16, 2025, when they will face Latvia in Riga.
