“The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom is a liar.” like a breath of fresh air hearing that today in parliament.
I fully expected Blackford to make a comment like that. I also expected him to be asked to withdraw the remark, and this hasn’t happened. Maybe this constitutes progress.
The parliamentary code is a joke, everyone in Parliament should be judged fairly mps of both rich and poorer backgrounds but for the title of PM to be also a shield from criticism and dishonor is disgraceful in this day and age. Our democracy is fucking broken.
He does that twice a week at this point. It’s really starting to lose impact, if you ask me.
Another day another blast from the wind bag Blackford
Boris Johnson: “2+2=5”
Non-Tory MP: “The PM lied.”
Speaker: “I will have to ask you to retract your statement or you will be ejected.”
Didn’t Bojo get fired from a newspaper for literally making up quotes in the late 80s? And in 2004 for lying to Parliament about an affair? If it’s officially on the record he’s lied multiple times, surely logic would dictate calling him a liar is fair game at this point?
They all lied when it came to Covid. Party stuff was bollocks, but the main issue is that all members of the government knew Covid was not serious enough to require any sort of regulations.
No one was at those parties going ‘fucking hell hope we make it out of here alive’. They all knew.
Other than embarrassing him… Nothing happens other than mean words exchanged.
There, I’m sure he’ll never do it again. :/
How dare they say that Boris Johnson, who has been sacked from not just one but *two* jobs for lying, and also got caught lying to the Queen, is a liar?
No disrespect to MP Ian Blackford but whichever way you look our government is a bunch of cunts.
Yet people will still vote for him because they claim all MPs are as bad as each other. Even if all MPs do lie or are not perfect, most are still miles ahead of Johnson when it comes to conduct. Johnson is in a league of his own when it comes to lying and deceit, yet he is PM and looks set to hold that position for years to come.
I always thought the word “liar” constituted unparliamentary language and the user had to withdraw it on penalty of suspension. It was a pleasant surprise to see it go unchallenged by the Speaker and hopefully it will be another nail in Bozo’s coffin.
Where did they brand him? Hopefully somewhere obvious so it warns people away.
The big question is why other public servants at the house of commons are keeping quite?
Are they sleep!
Can our prime minister have a illness to be such a pethathic compulsive liar.
He may be asking for help indirectly.
Can some one help him.
A politician calling another politician a liar. Pot, meet kettle.
Remember when all the SNP-hating weirdos insisted ‘it was just a stunt’?
It must be exhasting hating the SNP, and just ending up being wrong constantly.
Blackford is an English-hating fool who has probably lied just as much with regards to Scottish Independence… but yes he is today’s flavour because he attacks the Tories.
What’s the point of calling him a liar he is so thick skinned and corrupt that name calling is a waste of time.
He breaks the law he lies and cheats but still he is in power slowly selling England to finance his failures after this appalling Government U.K. will never return to any normal life.
