I think the use of prison for basically saying people should go to migrant hotels and burn them down, which then happens. is perfectly fair.
“Please let me incite violence”.
Um, sir, this is a meme page. Fuck outta here
“I totally should be allowed to call for the murder of people whose skin colour I do not like”.
No.
“The government has no plans to do this” – will be pretty much the answer.
Well what did you expect? For them to drop everything and put it to the top of parliamentary agenda?
They gave you timescale so it’s not by definition indefinitely.
I really don’t understand the difference between standing outside a train station spouting racism and calling for violence and doing so online on a public forum. If you were doing it in public, you’d likely be arrested for breach of the peace.
At the end of the day, you’re still calling for violence, if you choose to do it on a public forum online then expect to face the consequences.
All we have to do, clearly, is tell them to do everything they currently do. Then there’s no chance they won’t instantly reject it and do the opposite.
We have to be careful with letting the government do things like this, it can snowball. Power can be abused.
So many soft fuckers about these days
Make /r/greatbritishmemes great again.
Why do you dollops who are obsessed with petitions struggle so much with the word, “Consider”?
It’s in the dictionary.
UK Law / Who is the PM …isn’t decided by online petitions.
If people are inciting violence online or in a protest they should be jailed regardless who is doing it
“Oh no, my right to free speech is limited when I call for the death or deportation of people with melanin”. Anyway yes, that’s a hate crime and something society is better off without.
Genuine question. Have they ever enacted change due to a petition before?
Everyone is angry about the extreme cases but pretending this won’t be abused for unreasonable things mostly like criticising the government for a valid reason. Slippery slope right off a cliff. (Not saying nothing should be done about the extreme stuff.) But let’s not pretend the ones enforcing this are remotely trustworthy ie. police, courts, not just political figures.

You don’t have a voice.
