  1. Armenia and Azerbaijan are set to sign a historic peace deal at the White House on 08 August, with U.S. President Donald Trump hosting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Ilham Aliyev. The agreement aims to end decades of conflict and includes plans for economic cooperation and a key regional transit corridor linking Azerbaijan to its Nakhchivan exclave through Armenian territory.

  2. Wow. I wonder how India will handle the longer term part of weapons supply with Armenia. Surely it’s a new experience for us.

In providing weapons what is most important is servicing , easy maintainability and transferring just enough tech and manufacturing so that the country itself develops the capacity to fix minor issues and gets locked in.

Cross selling probably comes even later but I’m interested to see how we do that if the peace deal holds for even a decade.
