  1. I didn’t even notice that we, Latvians, do eat shit ton of potatoes. For me, Belarus was the homeland of potatoes. We were always just a mere enjoyers rather than a hardcore stans of this veggie.

  2. Latvian pepole were the guinea pigs of the potaoto, back in the colonial period we were the first mass of pepole (tauta) in europe who consumed the mighty spud.

    I gotta a tell you tho, American potatoes are nothing compared to PL potatoes. Something is f*ucky with them, just like the rest of their vegetables and fruits. It’s like eating plastic table decorations 🤨🧐🤢

  4. I want to try local produced šproti, the ones I had in Moscow doesn’t taste right. With boiled potatoes, fresh dill and sour cream of course
