  1. Thanks for posting this piece (written by a descendent of a slaver family). It was an interesting read.

    I noticed this bit:

    Sounds perfectly reasonable.

  2. Britain’s global role and reputation is declining at an accelerating pace. It would only be fair to finally start acting like a grown up nation and showing some remorse for the grave injustice done. That might at least buy us back a tiny bit of respectability

  3. Being as there’s more slaves in Britain now than ever before maybe we should sort that out first.

    They have a solid point but blaming slavers 300 years ago for Grenadans having a poor diet today? Bloody hell
