Serbia was without superstar Nikola Jokic, captain Bogdan Bogdanovic, and several other players, but still too much for Cyprus.
After beating Greece in its opener for the ECOMMBX Cup tournament ahead of the 2025 EuroBasket, Serbia crushed Cyprus 122 – 55 despite all these absences.
Tristan Vukcevic had 24 points, seven rebounds, and four steals for Serbia while Balsa Koprivica had 22 points and six rebounds.
Filip Petrusev (photo) contributed 18 points for the “Orlovi” that were also without guard Vasilije Micic, who is coming off injury, plus center Nikola Milutinov and guard Stefan Jovic were rested.
Filippos Tigkas scored 17 for Cyprus. Konstantinos Simitizs added 10 points.
