Israel kills Al Jazeera journalist it says was Hamas leader

1. Yet more journalists Israel has slaughtered with impunity and thin claims of “intelligence and documents found in Gaza as evidence.”

   We need neutral peackeeping forces in Gaza and the West Bank ASAP.

2. That statement makes me want to throw up. Media has to stop reporting this foul genocide propaganda. Anyone who spent two seconds watching Anas’ reporting knows he was the kindest, sweetest, bravest journalist in the world, a man of only 28 with two small children. He documented everything from the beginning in 2023 and only started being threatened and smeared from the moment he reported on the starvation. This is honestly demonic at this point, I’ve never seen anything so dark in my life.

   Not super strong proof without additional corroborating information.

   But…

   > Palestinian militant group Hamas, which runs Gaza, said the killing may signal the start of an Israeli offensive. “The assassination of journalists and the intimidation of those who remain paves the way for a major crime that the occupation is planning to commit in Gaza City,” Hamas said in a statement.

   Hamas isn’t saying the guy *wasn’t* the head of a cell either. They’re just concerned about an incoming offensive.

4. Uh hus, suuuuuuuuuure. Just like how Hind Rajab was toooooooraaaaaalllly a Hamas militant, right? Just like how the World Central Kitchen were 100% completely Hamas, right? Just like how Doctors Without Borders is entirely, 100%, without a doubt all Hamas to a man, riiiiiiiiight?

   Who do they think they’re fooling at this point? The IDF lies, constantly, and they’re not even hiding it. The “most moral army in the world” showed us its true colors in its massacres of civilians and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in 1948, and it’s never getting rid of that foundation with how deeply it is ingrained not just into the IDF, but Israeli society as a whole.

5. They killed four others in the AJ team for Gaza City. This reeks of suspicious motives, like when that Cannes recognized filmmaker was conveniently killed right after she was nominated.

6. Israel killed a bunch of journalists in Lebanon. They were away from the battle field and notified the idf of their location .

   Its fucking murder but the chosen people will defend the iDf
