  2. I always felt like the attack on renewables from politicians is always about jobs.

    Traditional fuel sources require sooo many hands from resource extraction, all the way to implementation.

    But you build a solar farm and…. That’s about it. Maybe you need some landscapers and the occasional technician.

  10. Trump hates anything that has a whiff of being progressive but it really comes down to the same thing as always with him and Republicans. Money (who’s paying the bribes, who has vested interests, how can I keep or get more power out of it) and short-sighted stupidity that they’ve shown time and time again. They absolutely provably wreck the economy and almost everything else, solar and America’s future are no question.

    They could have been like the Democrats and carefully played ping-pong politics on basic issues, not rocking the boat too much but keeping the moron public flipping from one party to the other every 4-8 years. They could both keep skimming the fat from the Golden Goose and carry on. But then Republicans got insatiably greedy for ALL the money and ALL the power and have been steadily killing said Golden Goose. 

    In the end, they’ll lose, we’ll all lose and China will assume the global throne.

  17. Because some things are considered to be a left wing agenda. Same with DEI, LGBT, and anything related to human rights, climate science, etc.. it’s tribalism at it’s worst. There is no right or wrong, truth or lie, common sense or foolish. It’s much about being on the winning side. That euphoria of being on the winning side will allow them to discount the the inflation they are seeing when they go shopping.

    That’s why recent polls that say around 50% would vote for him if was implicated in the Epstein files.

  18. Trump doesn’t care about solar. He cares about agitating his base, who think the solar, wind, and EV’s are liberal, ‘woke’ issues. This is just a tactical, ‘push those buttons’ thing for him. If he saw a way to get bribed by solar and wind interests, he’d change in a heartbeat.
