  1. Our government has climate goals? Wouldn’t have thought it, first time I’m hearing it. I thought their major goal was to screw us over make as much money as possible and completely ignore the climate.

  2. Not really. AI data centres increase energy demand, of course, but using green, renewables energy generation can still met that demand.

  3. AI requires an ever growing amount of data centres, which require lots of power. This is the problem.

    I’d expect SMRs to be part of data centre construction at some point in the future to remove the electrical supply from the grid.

  4. What he said was, is that we have loads of low skilled immigrants to support for no reason. Ai is going to make it even clearer.
