  3. The question is whether he will be deported once his sentence is served, whatever the duration of his actual incarceration ends up being. Or, will he be able to stay because deporting him would breach his human rights, or some such other reason?

  10. With all the increased sexual assaults and rapes ,it’s the victims who are forgotten about.
    They have to live with it for the rest of their life .
    The impact and fear of going out must be horrendous.
    So when you see the low sentences people get for committing the crime, it makes my piss boil.
    Don’t get me started on paedos like Huw Edward’s etc getting no jail time .”it’s only photos /video . A child has had to experience this abuse so they can have a wank. cu*ts.

  11. Just to call out how biased all these types of articles and posts are. Rarely do we see these posts about british nationals, especially white ones, who have committed crimes. Yet we frequently, and especially on this sub, see posts about crime by immigrants.

    This is an attempt to manufacture anti-immigrant sentiment. Possibly this is part of an off-shore misinformation campaign to influence UK politics.

  13. I think a better idea for these people is that you build a completely separate detention facility, reasonable large, but incredibly sparse. Couple thousand capacity. Those convicted of specific crimes of violence or crimes that affect the fabric of society, you convict, take DNA and fingerprints and immediately deport. In the event that they return, and are caught on the database, then it’s a mandatory life sentence and immediate deportation after.
