>The main takeaway from this debate so far is that Conservative MPs appear to be a lot more unhappy with the Prime Minister than most commentators have suggested.

They were all supporting the toxic culture whilst their careers were being advanced in return for turning a blind eye.
They’ve done more damage to the Tory party by ignoring it for the past two years than they will ever know, even diehard Tories I’m friends with are now furious at the state of our government and telling people to vote for Labour.
They will have been happily working in it since 2019. It is only toxic now because of the current scandal, if Johnson had never been fined then they would be saying nothing and revelling in that atmosphere.
I hate this Shakespearian tone of voice that MPs use. It makes them sound so out of touch with real people.
Every single MP in the land needs replacing, they’re all toxic, bring on the aliens, they’ll do a better job.

Funnily enough we have been calling for the Tories to resign due to the toxic atmosphere they are creating in this country.

>The most surprising speech of the debate so far has probably been the one from Steve Baker, the former Brexit minister who, as a leading figure in the European Research Group, played an important role in helping to bring down Theresa May as PM. …
