On August 12, the Russian armed forces carried out a drone strike on Semenivka in Chernihiv Oblast, injuring a 52-year-old power-grid employee who was near an official vehicle.

According to Chernihiv Oblast Police, published on their official Facebook page, the injured person sustained injuries, and damage to a vehicle near the scene was also recorded.

Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Vyacheslav Chaus said that the injured person was diagnosed with fragmentary wounds and was hospitalized for medical care.

A criminal proceeding has been opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for war crimes.

It is also important to note that on the night of August 12, Russian forces carried out a missile strike on the territory of Chernihiv Oblast, using four ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M/KN-23 type.
