Joe Rogan Reacts to News Anchors Fake Accents

Here, let’s watch this cuz it’s so funny. These pictures show the moments the Fresno County Sheriff’s SWAT team closed in on 29year-old Elan Lopez Sanchez. Elan Lopez Sanchez. A lot of people do that. Every time we hear a Hispanic name on TV, whether or not the anchor is Hispanic, we suddenly have to shapeshift into a perfect Hispanic accent. When I say Alejandro Mayorcis, I just say Alejandro Morcis. But on CNN, it’s Alejandro Mayorcus. I’m Irish. When police arrest someone with an Irish name, I don’t say, “Police just arrested 25-year-old Charlie Mclofflin.” I just say, “Police arrested Charlie Mclofflin.

  1. Well I'm American Indian and scotch and I don't see anybody's name correct. I just say this man or that man I really don't care

  2. It's something nobody's willing to say and when somebody says it, it's taken as a joke. When the woke start to fall I hope this is played at their political funeral😂

  3. When you are paid to read the news, you have a responsibility to say ANY name correctly. Stop saying Jizz Lane Maxwell. It is pronounced Gill Lane. Eyjafyallajökull is easy to pronounce with practice too. If you are going to be a news anchor, you can americanize pronunciations beyond recognition. Dunning Kruger effect would most likely make me criticize pronunciation of foreign words and names as effete snobbery.

  4. It’s saying it properly showing respect to their name and how he or she would pronounce it. I’ve said certain names that way because I have a lot of Hispanic friends and they appreciate me saying it that way they hate when you don’t say it properly. Like the name Maria I say Madia but most ppl who aren’t Latino with say Maria.
