I think Barcelona,Gdansk(not sure),Dubrovnik,Zurich and Istanbul are the most visited cities in these countries
I understand going to the beach in Spain and Croatia, going to Istanbul in Turkey, and going to Geneva and Lake Como in Switzerland, but what’s the hot tourism destination in Poland outside of Warsaw?
Isnt Den Haag the capital of the Netherlands?
As a German I’m surprised Berlin wins out over Munich, Hamburg, Cologne.
Who visits Berlin voluntarily?
In my country, it’s not even in the top three.
Toronto
Montreal
Vancouver
I’m pretty surprised by Germany. I would have thought Munich would be higher than Berlin on most people’s lists.
US would have so many red states. You know how many people think the capital of Michigan is Detroit?
Blags my head that people travel to England and spend most (or all) of their time in London.
I wonder why would anyone in their right mind even consider going to Moldova, let alone other cities beyond Chisinau….
Super interesting. Us states vs capital cities would likely be opposite these colors.
More Brussels than Brugge? Let me doubt
Having been to Barcelona many many times, can confirm. Although Sevilla is 100x better of a trip and visit IMO.
Everybody here is talking about the red countries, but a few blue ones surprise me where I expect most tourists go to the beach rather than the capital city, like Cyprus and Albania
Heard very few English speakers in Warsaw, but lots of Brits in Krakow, was honestly surprising Warsaw was great.

Without checking: Barcelona, Geneva, Krakow, Dubrovnik, Istanbul?
Nope. I believe NYC is still the most visited city. I’m pretty sure DC isn’t even in the top 5.
Edited: Yup. DC is 7th, [according to this](https://www.peekpro.com/blog/most-visited-cities-in-usa). And that *seems* about right.
No, ours is murderous. For now.
