  1. wow never seen one of those before! had to google it…Wasp Spider – not dangerous to humans

  2. It looks like a spider combined with a wasp, most people’s idea of hell!

Out of interest, what is it? I assume not a venemous type.

  3. Just an FYI, she probably wasn’t bite biting you. They sometimes use their fangs to anchor down if they feel like they may fall off so she’s likely just giving you a small nip to hold herself on you! Stunning colours though, what a find.

  4. Think that’s a wasp spider, comes from Europe I think?

  5. awwh, I wish I just found one in the wild. just an FYI if they feel unstable they may use their teeth to hang on. My giant golden orb weaver did anyway -.-

  6. posting before everyone comes in thinking they’re original and clever for saying ‘le nope nuke it from orbit’

  7. props to you because no way i’d let that fucker near my hand 😂

  8. I’m gonna use my Grounded knowledge and guess orb weaver?

  9. I think I know how he/she catches wasps. The crafty little bugger.

  10. Absolutely stunning!

I’ve always wanted to find one but haven’t ever been lucky enough.

  11. I once saw a Cucumber Spider. They’re an interesting sort.

  12. I mean this respectfully but why the fresh and fruity fuck would you scoop him up😭😭😭 I wouldn’t risk picking up an unknown spider haahah he is a lovely colour tho!! I’d just prefer to never see one in person😂😂

  13. i had a spider with these colors in my garden in the United States once. It made the most beautiful web.

  14. i loved your narration. spot on lad. made me cackle.

  15. I saw one of these in Greece before, I had no idea we had them too! what a beauty

  16. My favourite part was the narration and the switch from educational to abuse.

  17. I have a story that will make you squirm.

Many moons ago, I was playing 1-2-3 with some mates, I must have been 9, maybe 10, at the time.
Anyway, last one to not have tagged in yet, I was running for my life through a field when I inhaled one of those basturds.
One of the worst feelings ever. Chocking on a fucking spider while it was equally having its own crisis half way down my wind pipe.
The horror that came over me when it dropped out my mouth and scuttled off.

  18. I dont know. Its certainly pretty, but in my eyes the Ladybird spider is the prettiest!

  19. Your voice makes me laugh 😂 I’d love to watch a nature video with you narrating it

  20. I don’t mean to body-shame the spider, but it’s a large example. I would often find them when living in Portsmouth, fascinating colourful arachnid. I couldn’t resist picking them up, but after, my hands would always itch like mad. Moved further north and don’t see them any more, such a shame.

  21. > he’s fucking biting me, cheeky little fucker…

New series of Danny Dyer on Wasp Spiders

  22. I have also been finding interesting insects my favourite being these red and black moth things

  23. This and the Swallow tail butterfly is on my bucket list.

  24. Amazing creatures perfectly evolved to do what they do.

Keep all of them away from me please. TIA

  25. She looks very stylish in her stripes but she needs to stay away from me. They give me the willies

  26. I think we’ve found Sir David Attenborough’s successor should he ever decide to retire.

  27. Lucky! On my recent walks I’ve found a lack of ‘cool’ spiders. Just the basic brown orb weavers.

  28. I was so scared the first time I saw one because they look venomous as fuck but apparently they’re not dangerous
