“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tells i24 he feels he is on a “historic and spiritual mission,” and that he is “very” attached to the vision of Greater Israel, which includes areas slated for a future Palestinian state and possibly also areas that are part of present-day Jordan and Egypt.”

  1. Greater Israel encompasses all of Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria. Alongside chunks of Egypt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

I remember the days where this idea was mainly a conspiracy theory but now the Prime Minister of Israel is explicitly invoking it. Ffs.

  2. What the fuck just happened in the last 72 hours or so? It feels like out of nowhere the pro-Israel bullshit went all the fucking way back to post October 7 media buzz. Just as a dozen of countries in the anglosphere unanimously decide to enact chat control. I fucking despite this, all of it.

  3. Good luck with that ya pudgy fuck. To achieve that you’d have to have your army of slappy slappers actually fight a real army and not just murder women and children.

  4. I would like to step in and reassure everyone that Israelis want peace, and that everyone should ignore anyone and anything that seems to imply that Israelis don’t want peace.

If you see the Israeli prime minister talking about a war of expansion then please ignore that. Israelis want peace. If you hear reports about Israeli snipers systematically targeting and murdering children then also please ignore that. Israelis want peace. Starvation in Gaza? Murdering people queueing for aid? Bombing hospitals? Bombing churches? Systematically demolishing every building in large parts of Gaza? Ignore all that. Israelis want peace.

Think of it this way: would Israelis starve people, mass murder them and systematically destroy everything they have if they didn’t want peace? I’ve been assured that no, they wouldn’t.

  5. Bibi’s dad was a member of irgun specifically he was one of the philosophical member who gave ideological backing to Irgun and he left for the US when he believed that the movement had betrayed the dream of greater Israel

Bibi is his father’s son this was always the goal for anyone who paid attention

  6. These are literal Nazi talking points. Hitler also spoke of a “Greater Germanic Reich”. Israeli society hates everyone else so much that they’re willing to entertain literal Nazi shit? This is what happens when you tell a group of people they are “chosen” – you watch them murder and rape their way into becoming Nazis.

  7. Netanyahu openly embracing the vision of Greater Israel including territories beyond current borders is a huge deal.

What used to be dismissed as conspiracy theory is now official rhetoric. This raises so many questions about regional stability and the future of Palestinian statehood.

Is this a political strategy to rally his base, or a genuine ideological commitment

And how will neighboring countries like Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon respond to this?

what does this mean for peace prospects?

Can any dialogue survive a vision that rejects existing borders?

  8. Yeah good luck conquering Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Syria especially would be an absolute bloodbath to take over and absorb.

Never mind taking chunks of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and iraq.

I don’t think there’s any way to actually do it

  9. All those people going on and on about how greater Israel and it’s mention is antisemetism. And how Israel has no such plans. It’s bLoOd LibeL. All of those people, need to shut the hell up and be treated like idiots or complicit going forward.

Their own PM elected and present have confirmed it.

Enjoy the pariah state you warmongers.

  10. Where are all the zionists who were insisting greater israel was just a conspiracy theory? The ones who accused anyone who brought it up of antisemitism? The ones who said “no one is seriously considering it”?

The modern day “national socialists” seem to be missing from this comment section.

  11. The israeli voter doesn’t want the conspiracy theory “greater israel”, and will not send their children to die conquering sand dunes in countries they are not threatened by.

There is no public support to be garnered
from saying you want to take over saudi, jordanian and egyptian territory. Netanyahu’s “greater israel” is the english translation of the term “whole israel” which is current israel + the west bank, not fuckin Amman.

You all are high on your own supply.

  12. It was never about the hostages. Never forget that. Hamas proposed full hostage release and ceasefire on 10/8 simply to exchange the women and children Palestinian hostages that have been languishing in Israeli prisons for years and decades without charge. Israel wanted this. Whether it was a false flag or they simply took advantage for their genocidal purposes, this was Israel’s intent all along. And no I won’t simply say it was Netanyahu’s intent. He accelerated what was happening by Israel for decades

  13. Hey Egyptian and Jordainian governments. You’ve been nice little lapdogs for Israel as they kill Palestinians en masse freely.

How’s that working out for you?

  14. white people really love their mass murders and genocides, don’t they?

I used to think how could something as horrible as the Nazi regime could rise, but seeing something as ironic as Israel currently practising what was done to them not a hundred years prior really cemented the thought.
