  1. I prefer my history given to me from well-respected historians, not racist pedophiles like the Pedophile of the United States, Donald Trump.

  2. So because the toddler in chief can’t handle the reality of racism, misogyny and sexism that is the history of our country, now we need a watered down piss baby version for his milquetoast palate? Man fuck this shit

  3. Diddlin’ Donnie on the Revolutionary War:

*”Our army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rocket’s red glare, it had nothing but victory.*

  4. Trump’s interpretation of US history: I assume some combination of professional wrestling and Shark Week.

  5. A man mentally incapable of reading is going to interpret history for us. That’s great.

  6. His interpretation of US history involves American revolutionary forces taking over airports, this is only beaten in absurdity by his interpretation of math leading him to think that one can reduce the price of a product by 1500%.

  7. “Gettysburg. What an unbelievable battle that was. The Battle of Gettysburg. What an unbelievable. I mean, it was so much and so interesting and so vicious and horrible and so beautiful in so many different ways. It represented such a big portion of the success of this country. Gettysburg. Wow. I go to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to look and to watch. And, uh, the statement of Robert E. Lee, who’s no longer in favor. Did you ever notice that? No longer in favor. ‘Never fight uphill, me boys. Never fight uphill.’ They were fighting uphill. He said, ‘Wow, that was a big mistake.’ He lost his great general. And, uh, they were fighting. ‘Never fight uphill, me boys!’ But it was too late.” – Head Historian Donald Jessica Trump

  8. “Men who look upon themselves born to reign, and others to obey, soon grow insolent; selected from the rest of mankind their minds are early poisoned by importance; and the world they act in differs so materially from the world at large, that they have but little opportunity of knowing its true interests, and when they succeed to the government are frequently the most ignorant and unfit of any throughout the dominions.”

    ― Thomas Paine, Common Sense

  9. I’m a bit sick of seeing red like nine times a day.

What kind of smooth-brained, troglodytic simpleton excuse of an American would approve of government exhibits ensuring they align to the precious, fragile feelings of a single old man with dementia? Much less an old man who literally dresses, accessorizes, acts, and has the beauty regime of an actual clown?

Most North Koreans were probably born into a shit system like this. But the barely 300-year-old country that screeches about personal freedom just walking into it willingly? Like, I am genuinely ashamed to be a human. Every time my dog walks by and looks at me, I just look away feeling nothing but shame that my species cannot do better.

  10. Full blown Nazi shit.

You get what you voted for America.

  11. Good, lock him up there until he finishes.

It will take years to do it with any kind of scrutiny, given the number of objects the Smithsonian actually possesses not out on rotation…

“The Smithsonian Institution—the world’s largest museum and research complex—includes 19 museums and galleries and the National Zoological Park.

Currently, the total number of artifacts, works of art and natural science specimens in the Smithsonian’s collections is approximately 155 million. The bulk of this material—more than 145.8 million specimens and objects—is part of the National Museum of Natural History. In addition, Smithsonian collections include 162,000 cubic feet of archival material and 2.1 million library volumes.”

  12. Someone should tell him that facts don’t care about his feelings

  13. Confederate monument “history” defenders suddenly silent

  14. “Guy from your history class who constantly asked what use knowing stuff from the past is now to interpret history” we’re moving past the onion and heading towards living far side pannels.

  15. Why are people still questioning if this administration is fascist or not? This right here is what fascists do

  16. So Hitler wants to rewrite history? Yeah, that’s worked out well in the past…

  17. Oh lord, he can’t even interpret a tariff, never mind history 🫨

  18. You don’t interpret history, especially if you’re an illiterate buffoon.

  19. Im sure the “YOU CAN’T CHANGE HISTORY” crowd will denounce Trump as much as they did every statue removal. /s

  20. If they have time for this, they aren’t running the government.

  21. Shit’s about to get real dumb, real fast.

Don’t worry, America. The rest of us will remember your real history, especially the bad parts Great Leader will erase.

  22. Vet my ballsack, child rapist. Hands off our history (and little girls) and release the files.

  23. Can we call him Hitler now? He’s taking over the capital and sensoring what people can see. We have concentration camps. I think the name fits.

  24. How does anyone look at stuff like this and not instantly see it for what it is?

Republicans and Democrats should be locked arm in arm together protesting this shit. It’s a no brainer.

Wild and sad times we live in.

  25. No matter what dumb, idiotic and pathetic grifting garbage this fucker and his disgusting cohorts do he will always be a criminal pedophile piece of shit. Him and his power hungry Republican party of racist fraud scum bags will ultimately be a historical embarrassment for America.

  26. This isn’t a man who intends to go back to life as a regular American citizen.

  27. Save your books! There is a war on history. They can’t erase physical books.

  28. I mean this is quite literally what they did in Nazi Germany.

  29. Wait, shouldn’t the headline read “White House *Demands* review of Smithsonian Exhibits”?

As far as I understand, they are not part of the Executive Branch, have about 40% private funding, and the 60-63% public funding is funded by Congress.

So how exactly, by that mechanism, is the White House expecting to do jack and/or shit in this regard?

And why is a news source merely passing on assertions from a known liar and moron, instead of asking these questions?

This is like the 36th illegal, baseless, overreaching thing this administration has done in 7 months, and every time it gets reported as though it’s factual, fine, and not problematic by its very nature. Ffs.

  30. Didn’t the taliban destroy or hide away historical artifacts?

  31. Interesting. Before long. We’re going to be learning about how trump. single handedly stopped all wars ever.
Invented banking and real estate. And didn’t hire countless hookers and prostitutes. While simultaneously didn’t have sex with children. Like, he absolutely did not have sex with children ever, ever, ever.
    Ever.

  32. I don’t actually think the US will recover from his presidency
