  1. UPDATE: Their page got taken down by Meta after dozens of reports were made to AGS

  2. I personally know a few of these “X Town says no!” folk who call themselves patriots and are itching to turn on fellow Irish people over purity tests they like to imagine.

    Pathetic scum.

  3. Right genuinely I seen a few comments about adamstown. What actually happened. Or is it complete BS

  4. The utter insanity of this post in general aside, how can someone consider themselves a “first world civilised person” while advocating for abusing and even murdering their fellow humans?

  5. There are, not particularly challenging, ways of identifying who posted this. This brazen, foul incitement needs punishment. Spare the rod, spoil the rodent ‘patriots’.

  6. These guys say that immigrants scare and cause fear amongst Irish women. I wonder, does their heart beat faster when they see one of these mfs or some brown dude.

  7. That is a perfect example of pure, distilled racism. Actually fairly sad to read.

He must live in an awful place in his own head.

  8. That is shocking. I’d suggest at the very least reporting that profile and some of the pages he follows to Facebook for incitement to violence.

  9. “First World civilised country”

‘Let’s lynch people for looking different than us’

    Wow…

  10. This is what the people willing to stand over racism are in favour of. This is what they want.

  11. I know 2 lads who would support this shit and 1 woman who I’m not sure supports it but has expressed views to me that she might support it. I don’t know if they know each other and I don’t know if there’s been a study done about this but I find it odd that the 1 thing they all have in common is that they hate their mothers

  12. Lost: one dog-whistle. Owner offering generous reward for swift return.

  13. Are people reporting this as hate speech to FB or doing nothing?

  14. He’s probably very angry because he stupidly decided to go by the name BJ in a country where slagging is the national pastime

  15. Jesus Christ. “Stop the world and let me off”

The internet is a great thing and enriches all of our lives in many ways but then you get social/toxic media now turning so many people into absolute fuckwits. I hear some low level stuff get parroted by a worrying amount of people in my life and I’ve outright cut out some of the more hardcore ones.

It’s actually scary, to meet someone you might have grown up with or been at school with and not seen in ages to greet you with this shit rather than how are you keeping, how is you mam, what are you doing with yourself etc. It’s happened a few times this year to me. The last time I called them on it and of course I was the arsehole, deluded, the next wave is coming it’ll be the end of Irish culture etc etc. I walked away. That guy has a 6 figure job ffs.

  16. Europeans: OMG, Americans are so racist.

    Meanwhile, Europeans….

  17. Ivory Coast flag there. Did Waterford Says No add that, or the creator of the meme? Ironic either way

  18. Can we take down the utter gobshites page We are Cork. A racist mf pretending to post about Cork and posting racist stuff!

  19. There was a time when not everyone had phones and so the crazy rants that people had were limited to their couches and neighbours. Now anyone with thumbs can get up to all kinds of mischief

  20. Can this be reported to the authorities somehow? Can they track this person down and do something about it? This person is a ticking bomb…

  21. i -this looks like something exaggerated for satire, how are these kinds of people even real, like get a life pal 😭

  22. Ireland is a cultural model to me. I am pagan, and worship the celtic gods, mostly the Irish. I know some of Ireland history of famine, suffering and fight against colonizers. I know the history of how Irish people were sended to Haiti, to USA to work on platation and shared their culture with both countries. I know about the relation with the choctaw tribe, and this tale is one of the most beautiful things i ever heard. I am Brazilian, and your gods, your culture, your history, your language are strong enough to come here to us in 2025. That post, in the meme, doesn’t represent your people to me and my people.

  23. I mean, this is the sort of thing I’d come up with for an absurdist piece dealing with racists.

To think people actually really think stuff like that, let alone have the belief in those convictions to publicly post it, in this day & age is actually a little frightening.
