Water cooling is great, but they’re usually a closed system and don’t constantly take from the tap

In reality you’re just saving water so the next door neighbour can have a swimming pool filled up everyday
Yeah, I mean, empty hard drives are easier to spin and require less power to operate. DUH
the “avoid watering your lawn” one is ridiculous considering this is about the UK
Not only water, they also have to make space for all those IDs’s to know if they can go to reddit.
Labor doing its hardest to lose the next election
How is kitchen water different from any other water?
I’m not using my hose when I’m watering my garden and it’s fucking massive.
Been wandering around with a watering can for an hour every morning like a dickhead.
They should be grateful.
They forgot the water companies actually fixing leaks in their system. But no, let’s go off on Doris watering her tomatoes
My biggest question is why would you need to save water in the UK? It *literally* falls from the sky almost everyday you silly goobers
Without water the brits would speak french, and Americans would “speak” it too. So I think we should respect water as much as we can
Labour’s gonna Labour. And then the Tories will come to spend the fruits of all that labour.
They do require a lot of cooling, but unless you’re Microsoft or Amazon your servers are usually cooled with AC.
Save water? Mate i fucking pay for it in like 5 different ways, im gonna use as much as feasibly possible. Basic human right my arse, we dont live in a desert unlike the english in their sub-sahran climate, the reservoirs are full which means im going to fill my bin with water and bask, you filthy fascist cunts
So have you to use rainwater or water from the kitchen on your garden plants?
Yeah… who’s still laboring under the assumption that deleting stuff actually makes it go away?
I understand that it hasn’t been the issue of discussion, but I wanted to share that i have been saving some water with 2 extra habits which i didn’t have before. I think it could save a lot if millions come to do it too.
1. Please close the tap also while washing your hands with soap. Please water the hands, close the tap, soap and wash, reopen tap and rinse.
2. In the kitchen, please open only a fraction of the tap, according to need. Very often, for most chores, that little fraction is all you need, or sometimes it’s even better, instead of splashing water all over the sink/counter. So, rinsing the dishes or something, you’ll find out that it’s fine to do it with little water running.
That’s it. The rest is the same that everyone else is doing already.
Anyone else has been “having fun” this way too? I’m sure I’m not the only one, of course. 🙂
Excuse me my poor English, not at my best this time.
