So, who is going to decide about where to deploy which forces when? The EP? The member governments of the 27 unanimously or by majority vote? The member governments of a “coalition of the willing”?

I’m sure there’s an answer, this is more a question for people smarter than me than a criticism of a fault I’ve found, but what would happen if troops who are citizens of a particular nation were ordered into an action which their national government opposes? Is there a historical precedent for anything remotely similar?
The EU will do what it always does. Fuck something up badly, and use that as an excuse to implement a proper solution.

A federal military could be good. What would be better is growing some balls so that they actually use the powers they already have to stop the migrant invasion.
