What is the difference among these stamps? Which one is better? What do we normally use?
Prio is delivery next morning, it includes “Einschreiben Einwurf” to a certain degree.
Einschreiben means you get an information back whether your Mail has been delivered. “Einwurf” means you get an notification when its put into the receivers mailbox, “eigenhändig” means the receiver has to sign that he got the letter and you will get a postcard back saying your mail is deliverd with the signeture of receiver. What the Standard means i have no clue.
Just checked: “Standard” is just “Einwurf” + Signeture without the postcard.
Einschreiben ist tracked. Einwurf until it is delivered to the mail box, standard is until it is delivered to somebody signing and Eigenhändig is until the person adressed signs.
You normally use the option ‘ohne Zusatzleistungen’, which is a simple mail delivery.
Prio is prioritization, never used this.
Einschreiben are different options of getting like an acknowledgement of the delivery. Usually this is used for important letters as contracts etc.
Standard is just a normal letter. Prio has faster transportation. Einschreiben is for important letters. Einwurf the postman documents when he drops it. Standard you get a recipe back after delivery. Eigenhändig the letter is giving only to the person it addresses and you get a recipe after delivery.
“Ohne Zusatzleistung” means it’s just ordinary mail, the most basic option.
“Prio” means “priority”, i.e. express.
“Einschreiben” is a registered delivery, meaning you get a notification when the letter is delivered; “Einwurf” means that the postal worker confirms that they put the letter in the mailbox, “Standard” means that somebody at that address signed to say they received it, and “Eigenhändig” means that it is only delivered to the person it’s actually addressed to and not anybody else living at the same address.
Einschreiben Einwurf: The delivery-person makes a note when the mail was put into the recipients mailbox.
Einschreiben Standard: The delivery-person rings the bell and somebody from the household must acknowledge the delivery via signature.
Einschreiben Eigenhändig: The delivery-person rings the bell and only the recipient receives the mail and must acknowledge this with a signature.
Basically, there might be small details I missed here.
You usually use an “Einschreiben” when the letter is urgent and you may need to proof that it arrived or just want to be very certain that it arrives. With an “Einschreiben” you also get a tracking number for the letter.
