Bans 16 year olds from adult sites then allows them to vote, don’t see how they thought this would end well for them
4th arm should be named wankists
I couldn’t care less, he won’t be PM when the next GE rolls around.
Woah, centrists and rightists got a little bromance going on 👀
Not worth being on this sub anymore. Just change the name to British political memes. Just feels like scrolling through a bunch of lobbying adds now.
The fact everyone is acting like it’s normal is stupid. Sub didn’t look at all like this a few months back. Mods need to make a no politics rule and enforce it.
Probs best to leave and come back in a year when hopefully the bots and lobbyists have calmed down.
This would be true but I still see those right wingers online who still insist Starmer is a “communist”, socialist, leftist, or whatever American propaganda they’ve fallen for and still say that this is what left wing leaning people wanted to happen.
Politics these days is so ridiculous haha.
I hope the lib Dems make a resurgence.
I like how centrists and rightists are on the same side, good stuff.
I dont stand with rightists because they want someone even worse than Starmer in power. This time, it’s Farage.
Sure, replacing Starmer with another billionaire backed grifter that also wants to privatise healthcare and blame our issues on immigrants will help /s
Glad you put centrists on the same side as conservatives cos thats what they are. Right wingers with imposter syndrome and commitment issues.
We’re just gonna end up having another neo liberal or right wing party in again. Lib Dem coalition with Green, Corbyn and Labour is our best hope. Let’s have proper representation in politics. The popular right have had their day
Really wish people would form their opinions on politics completely separately from social media. In fact none of your opinions politically should be influenced by an social media post ever.
And if your political views were formed through YouTube, Reddit, twitter, ect. You should really: Pretend it never happened, open the main 5ish goals of each party’s manifesto, find relevant research as to how effective those plans look to be.
Look into what you believe to be the largest issues in the country and find the research which points to their causes. Then find the party which most aligns with attacking those causes.
Ai is an amazing tool for research nowadays because it can summarise large bodies of information and pick out key aspects and conclusions drawn in studies. Don’t let it source the information for you but find the information and use it for summary.
99% of all political discussion I have is disproving lies someone has heard on social media. Just straight up lies to convince you of certain beliefs. Everyone on all sides falls into it but none more so than the far right.
My cousin is 15 years old & last year, he was in school he was asked to vote to predict who would win the election & he went for reform, Starmer doesn’t know how the adults think let alone the kids😂
Just curious…

Political discourse in this country is run by Russian and right-wing influencers, and by the time they’re done we’re going to end up voting Farage for PM.
Farage… What a useless piece of shit wanker (and future PM).
Führer starmer
I’m sorry but holding hands with the right? Speak for yourself nazi lover.
I really feel like this is a right wing propaganda sting operation sort of thing. Seeing so much of this sort of thing and it just doesn’t sit right with me.
Nah, that’s Starmer with lobbyists, hedge funds and private equity firms.
I don’t trust reform or labour or Tories but could we stop with the political posts and maybe have funny memes for a change
You know something’s wrong when this happens.
The most inoffensive PM for a long time yet receives almost unanimous hate. You all have been poisoned by social media’s propensity to feed you politically extreme content in order to drive engagement.
Let’s go with Farage or Corbyn then. Can’t wait to smugly tell you all I told you so.
We shoukd be unified to get this government out
And in a tragic irony by working with the reform voice we’re paving the way for a reform government. I wonder if this sub will be silent when Brexit man is in power
lol as if the left or right will agree with anything the centrist or opposite side believes. 😂
Methinks Starmer is going to have to fire his advisers for sure it does appear he is being badly advised.
For myself to even wonder if his advisers would rather someone else was PM and they’re in fact working towards that goal
I used to think Labour is bad, but still better than Reform, but after the Online Safety Acts, I don’t know
As long as Green never get in.
As a non Brit can anyone tell me how a Reform government would look like? Are they far right, right extreme or just a stricter Torie party? The polls show them already at 31% and I expect a win in the next elections.
The hero no one wanted, no one still wants, but united us against himself for the greater good.
Seems like it worked tbh
Why have you put rightists twice???
I can’t speak on behalf of your son & my cousin is in a public school, but his vote in which he told me was because he agreed with everything they were saying & this was back then, even kids can see this government & leader are the biggest joke we’ve ever had.
Labour can’t help themselves, they are doing the same old shit that’s puts them out of power for years. They need to get past thinking we need to be managed for our own good
Labour have to do 3 things.
1. Definitive and significantly reduce immigration (legal and illegal), without fudging numbers.
2. Tax the wealth of anyone with assets of £3mil plus. No loopholes.
3. REDUCE taxes for working people. Not stay the same, not give with one hand and take with the other. FUCKING REDUCE.
If Labour don’t do these, they are out.
Reform will be in because many feel there is nowhere left to put their vote.
As a centrist, Labour are doing ok. They’re centre right I’d say at the minute but I feel like this is intentional so as to make the shift back to the left more stable for the economy. They’ve laid a lot of foundational policies to build on in the future.
Their comms strategy is complete shit though. Its like they’ve forgotten that most of the media is right wing owned.
As a centrist I get accused of being right wing but tbh I also get accused of being left too.
Not even joking… my brain totally misread this whole thing as “standing against cancer”, and I was a bit confused by the redundancy of the image. In all seriousness, my brain auto-corrected “Starmer” to “cancer”.
Brits, assemble!
First time the “United Kingdom” is actually united in a long time, bravo Starmer 👏
Life long labour supporter. Seeing hes face starmer when he won the leadership. Just no. I could never support him.
But. It has always been said. Starmer is most probably doing everything that sucks and makes him unpopular now. So that come election time and hes got all the difficult policies out of the way, that where needed.
Hes rating will be at hes highest and should ensure another election win. That’s the theory. I can’t stand this man as our polices are completely different. But this is politics and its not a vote for the most popular. I have always hated the status quo of labour and tories. But I get it.
They will ensure the country doesn’t go bankrupt. Where as the more extreme smaller parties will try to pander to their electorate whilst completely bankrupting the country.
Do you want to live in a North Korean style regime? Keep protest voting keep voting in more extreme candidates then when you’ve a SAM pointed at you dont say i didn’t warn you.
The countries gone to the dogs. This is what they meant it was going. Farage is the dog.

I don’t stand with people who support Farage & Co
Except [Starmer beats all other candidates when people are asked who would be a better prime minister](https://yougov.co.uk/politics/articles/52729-who-would-be-the-best-prime-minister-august-2025), so this simply isn’t true. He’s not popular, but he is more popular than literally everyone else
