It led National Republican Congressional Committee Chair Richard Hudson to reportedly advise his party’s lawmakers to avoid in-person events in March. While Republican leaders previously suggested these hecklers were paid protesters, they have not provided evidence for these claims.

   >The crowd of around 650 people in Chico, a college town 90 miles north of Sacramento, were especially angry over the administration’s handling of the Epstein investigation. Last month, the Justice Department and FBI released a joint memo indicating there would be no further disclosures related to the Epstein sex trafficking investigation. The apparent lack of transparency over the late sex offender’s case was condemned by Republicans and Democrats alike.

   One audience member also asked LaMalfa about the cuts to Medicaid and Medicare under Trump’s “One Big, Beautiful Bill,” a sweeping tax and spending bill he signed into law last month. The legislation is estimated to cut spending on Medicaid, Medicare and Obamacare by $1.1 trillion over the next decade, and 11.8 million people are expected to lose coverage by 2034.

5. Good. Republicans should be angry about the republican politicians agenda. The BBB, DOGE, Tariffs, concentration camps, and Epsteins list should upset everybody nomatter their political affiliation. The elected republican politicians are not working on behalf of the public.

6. Hopefully, these people will vote this asshole out of office next November. I’m sick of people in rural areas constantly complaining about how the country is going to shit then voting for the same piece of shit republican politicians who are robbing the middle class blind and destroying the country.

8. Yes, Chico is a university town,however, he also got his unless ass hammered in Red Bluff.

9. I really don’t see the point to these. The people on his side only show up for Trump rallies. He doesn’t care about his constituents or he would vote differently. The people that show up to these things are people there to complain, but people like him still get voted in because of single issue voters, racism, or because of anger against Democrats.

12. My ex congressman… Never held a town hall when people could attend on purpose and does nothing of value. 8 yrs since his last one in Chico and only does it when basically forced to.

    I’m always happy to see family and friends turn up to rip him to shreds.

13. Love this for him. Reading the article, it seems he was an indignant piece of shit for the duration. I would expect nothing less from a GrifterOrPedophile congressperson these days.

15. Some of the people that showed up are a riot! Seems like a really good group with a solid sense of justice. They may lean red, but would def throw down on a blunt with them.
