Kate Middleton is sharing a special summer message.
The Princess of Wales, 43, provided a voiceover for a new video shared on her official social media pages on Wednesday, Aug. 13. The post was the latest of her “Mother Nature” series, started earlier this year.
Sharing a personal note as the caption, as indicated by signing it with a “C” for Catherine, she said, “Our lives flourish when we cherish the bonds of love and friendship. It has never been more important to appreciate the value of one another and of Mother Nature. Here’s to Summer.”
In the voiceover to the video, which shows clips of bees buzzing, people gardening, children playing and more, Princess Kate says, “Summer is the season for abundance. Just as the flowers bloom and the fruits ripen, we too are reminded of our own potential for growth. It is the time to ignite our inner fire and explore our own creativity, passions and dreams.”
“As we bask in the sunlit hours, friends and families come together – playing, connecting, being present, embracing the joy to be found in even the most fleeting moments and shared experiences,” she continues. “Our lives flourish when we cherish the bonds of love and friendship, so open your hearts, sing, dance, play. The days are still long, so simply love and be loved.”
The Princess of Wales is currently spending her summer break out of the public eye with her husband, Prince William, and their children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.
Although the details of their family time are kept private, Kate’s message hints that they’re spending time together outdoors. She previously said on a 2020 podcast interview that her favorite times with her family are when they’re “outside in the countryside, and we’re all filthy dirty.”
Prince William and Princess Kate’s last public appearance as a family of five with all three of their kids was at Trooping the Colour on June 14. The couple also brought their two elder kids along to the men’s singles finals of the Wimbledon Championships on July 13, and Princess Charlotte joined her dad in Switzerland to see England’s women’s national soccer team compete in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 final on July 27.
