  1. He’s brilliant, he absolutely should be inducted.

  2. I dunno. His career feels like it was too short to warrant induction. He was on pace to make the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame I think, if only Madonna hadn’t had him killed in 1985.

  3. Nobody tell him about Beyoncé’s’ next album. He’s going to be heartbroken. She’s got an accordion covered in Swarofski crystals to form a ‘bee’ motif.

It’s actually good for a new artist, despite her changing hair style.

Congratulations Al! Thank you for all your work.

  4. It’d actually be pretty funny to launch a campaign to induct John Linnell of They Might Be Giants first.

  5. Recently saw him live at Red Rocks. His performance was mind blowing. Changing costumes instantly between songs. Better live than most of the bands he parodies. He is without a doubt is a Hall of Fame-er.

  6. Rock and roll hall of fame doesn’t mean anything to me anymore.

Real rock bands aren’t in it, but people like Dolly Parton and Eminem are. It’s a joke

  7. By funny if they put Frankie Yankovic in ahead of him

  8. There’s no one like Al. He is a singular entity. He is also joy. Induct him. He’s earned it

  9. If nothing else, at least someone go through the entirety of the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame and put weird Al stickers on everybody who he parodied

  10. They’ll eventually bite. They’ll start running out of tasteful acts to bring in.

  11. I’m surprised we haven’t gotten new music from him in so long.
