1. It is a many pronged beast, but underlying the inactivity is oil lobbying/funding of opinions. Politicians in the back pockets of people whose sole objective is to make money through oil at any cost. On top of this I also have a theory that hierarchies think they can solve the climate crisis by letting the poorest and most vulnerable die thereby leaving more resources for fewer people. Watched through that lens, inactivity makes sense. At what stage do we say enough is enough?
