  1. This is the same lady from yesterday who talked about banning face coverings.
Like I tried to tell you all, that was a distraction from the actual news
And a lot of you fell for it.

  2. Sanni has been a total disaster first as a minister of environment, then as a minister of education, so I don’t know how she was chosen to become the minister of social security..

Maybe the PR department of Kokoomus deemed her a rightly-looking face for cuts on social benefits

  3. So I understand peoples frustration, but if cuts has to be made then isn’t it up to the politicians to check every facet that can be turned?

  4. How about the government spending cuts. For example, senatikintesto ships his employees every quarter to south of finland away from the city so everyone stays in hotels get drunk for days and all paid by taxpayers there is lots of stuff in government that do something like that its called employees wellness

  5. Well child benefit for high earners can be cut.

  6. Kela is an executive body for social security. It should absolutely not get involved with political decisions on benefit cuts.

But on the other hand, it is hardly surprising the Government appointed a Kokoomus politician Lasse Lehtonen as the new Chair of Kela’s Management Team. Initially, they tried to appoint another Kokoomus politician, Arto Satonen, for the office, but he proved out to be embarrassingly stupid.

  7. Finland has millionaires and billionaires. Why don’t they fucking tax THEM and let the poorest and the most important part of the population future-wise(students) breathe a little? Or if not billionaires, then the parliament could take a little pay cut

  8. How about we cut the salary from the politicians? They get more and more money, meanwhile the regular people suffer more and more. How about we start there?
