  1. There are better ways to protest than holding a sign like those in the image which will result in your arrest and prosecution.

  2. Aye I’m sure Hamas will give back the hostage’s after hearing about this protest.

  3. While I think there is a wider issue of limiting protest (less so now the Tories are out), this is a specific issue being targeted for political point-scoring. As such, might it not be better to focus efforts on non-public actions that build pressure on Israel to ceasefire/allow aid through, and anything at all that might get some food into Gaza. The fight for parity in treatment of protesters can wait.

  4. No skin in this but I’m looking forward to the PSNI having easiest arrests ever if anyone shows up supporting a proscribed organisation ie Palestinian Acton

  5. Labelling Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation was the dumbest shit ever. I don’t even believe it was them in the first place. I saw a lad going into a ‘abandoned’ millitary base in Rendleshaw forrest of all
Places! And after a short time he triggered some kind of alarm and he had MP’s chasing him with jeeps. Are you telling me those RAF planes are stationed without any oversight? Bull fucking shit.

  6. I actually don’t agree with the proscription of PA. It’s a waste of Police time arresting a load of Jeremy Corbyns and It’s a waste of the courts time as well

  7. Starting to notice a growing trend in this lovely sub. Based off comments read in here, anyone that doesn’t tow the line with Leftist political views or volunteers a different perspective is immediately buried, and by a significant margin. Curious to see how badly this comment gets stomped on.

  8. You probably want to edit those signs on your flier there, why make it easy on them to have an excuse? Just blank out the “Action” part?

  9. The right to protest the decision to proscribe them is absolute.

But don’t go waving signs in support – it’s just going to get you arrested, and with a good chance at a criminal record under the Terrorism Act… which will follow you for life.
