Our government seems to be very passive on this matter.
We are having a small crime-rate only because majority of even unqualified people has a job that allows them to live a comfortable live.
Supply of jobs is limited, so granting too many permits may backfire.
We need a comprehensive migration policy, that promotes short-term contracts for dirty/temporary jobs and encourages highly skilled professionals (permanent stay).
Is Warsaw safe?
I wonder why…
Poland is sejf
I am curious to hear from Polish people. Poland is often regarded as one of the safest countries in Europe, and I have sometimes seen it suggested that this is partly due to its relatively homogeneous population. While that may be true, I find it interesting that Finland or Iceland, which are also highly homogeneous, do not seem to receive the same level of attention when it comes to discussions about safety. Why do you think Poland in particular is highlighted in this way?

Poland is safe 😌
Let’s hope it will last. But I am skeptical.
