I had a recent credit from a ministry I believe in Lux for some car energy subsidy. I don't own a car and was quite surprised to know what's this about.

Did anyone else experience this in the past?

  1. When purchasing some cars, like EVs, you can get a subsidy. Only thebowner gets it (so if you lease, the leasing company receives the subsidy).

    You say you don’t own a car. The Klima agency isbalso human. The subsidy might have been transferred to the wrong bank account, being yours.
    If you never applied for a subsidy, it’s most likely what happened.

    By curiosity, what’s the amount? That may be an indicator too. For instance 8000€ was granted for many EVs (not all).

  4. It’s the subsidy for electric vehicles or solar panels. Only took them a fucking year to sign the memorandum and release the funds.
