This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the EU. In the latest W.E. Talk, Hussein Askary, vice-chairman of the Belt and Road Institute in Sweden, noted that EU-China relations have become increasingly important—especially in economic, scientific, and cultural exchange.

Despite geopolitical tensions, the China-Europe Railway Express continues to operate steadily, serving as a vital artery for the EU economy. The Swedish IF Metall union even stated that rising worker salaries are thanks to high-quality intermediate goods imported from China, according to Askary, and this is a clear example of win-win cooperation between China and the EU.
