4. Mao is one of my favorite comparisons. The hate for intellectuals is pretty unique. Most authoritarian movements try to court academics, but these went to total war. 

   Obviously the comparison has limits, but it’s an interesting analysis.

    So their solution is to claim that Trump is actually a communist. Then people will say, “It’s actually communism destroying America and capitalism is great!”

13. State capitalism is not communism, state is not delivering food to people, state capitalism is more like Germany in 1942.
