Ngl 1 class is much better than second never second
Their responses after their fuck ups are always enraging.
Reading the article, they just billed them the additional price for the first class travel. They didn’t charge them the 80 CHF fine.
Which kinda seems fair?
The SBB says it’s okay to enter the 1st class wagon, as long as you make your way to the 2nd class immediately. Since the door was defective and didn’t allow for that, the passengers are not at fault, since they had no other choice and could not have known it was broken when entering the 1st class.
It sounds like the SBB would however reimburse all those affected “betroffene Reisende sollten sich beim Kundendienst melden, schreibt die SBB. Dort werde der Klassenwechsel dann einzeln nochmal geprüft.”
It’s just silly that they don’t outright admit it was a mistake.
