Earth’s climate is approaching irreversible tipping points

2. Using the word “approaching” implies there’s a way to avoid it, which we all know ain’t gonna happen. Humans (especially Americans) are too effin stupid to move out of the way of the train bearing down on them. We’re definitely going to blow past these tipping points in a ford f-150 with truck nutz at 70 mph chugging a beer. Then we’ll ask “why is this happening to me?” as we get swept off the roof of a double-wide and die in a flash flood.

3. Yea at least in the US no one cares that can do anything about it so it is what it is. But thanks for the reminder.

4. There is a great evil involved in this problem being done by special interests in the banking/investment, fossil fuel, and automotive industries, as well as corruption in governments. 

   If it’s going to be solved, then responsibility to the environment will likely need to happen at the government, business, and individual level. 

5. We kind of need to stop fascism first(again) before we even have a shot at mitigating this.

6. Let’s go to Mars. Freeze and incinerate during one planet rotation.
