The building is actually privately owned, and the AfD isn’t (yet) banned so the owner’s constitutional right to freedom of expression of opinion comes into play here. DB would love those flags to be taken down, but they sold the building to a private businessman in 2014 so there’s nothing anyone can do at this stage.

The other being: while I hate the AFD and they’re considered far right and under investigation, it’s still an official political party in Germany, the party is not a forbidden party and it’s not illegal to fly the flag
The funny thing is that even if I couldn’t quite decipher what flag it was, I just knew they were gonna be AFD.
There’s something about those right wing guys, the urge they feel to literally wave it in your face. Same thing with the trump supporters in the USA. I don’t understand it.

I know someone who bought an old train station elsewhere, and Deutsche Bahn did a whole lot to make sure he wasn’t some kind of extremist, even had some officials he knew make a written statement to his good character. I think I understand why now.
Well, if they can’t influence the building’s flagpoles because it’s now private, they can take a stance by renaming the station to commemorate an anti-Nazi hero born in Bützow. Nächste station: Else Hirsch.

Wenn auf das Gebäude mehr Eier, Kot, Unrat, Spucke, Grafittis or what ever fliegt, wird der Besitzer entweder viel Geld ausgeben für die Reinigung und im Umkehrschluss weniger Geld in deren Unterstützung, oder den Mist wieder abhängen.
Wir sind ne freie Gesellschaft, wir müssen uns nur mehr gegen diesen Scheiß wehren.
Ich z.B. spucke an jede Tür, die ich von AfD Gebäuden sehe. Ich muss dann auch immer trödeln, weil Frau sonst sauer wird, wenn die das mit bekommt.
Die AfD kann im Grunde froh sein, dass ich Frau, Kind und geregeltes Leben habe. Sonst würde von meiner Seite schon längst mehr fliegen, als nur Spucke.
Meiner Meinung und eigentlich auch dem Fakt des Verfassungsschutzes, ist die AfD gesichert rechtsextrem und daher auch für mich Staatsfeind Nr. 1.

Its because the building is privatly owned

Long story short: The building is not owned by the train company but a private person. And he allows them to fly these flags there.

These are AFD flags put up by the owner of the station building.
Sadly neither the town nor the Deutsche Bahn have the ability to force the owner to remove these rags from up there.
