1. Of course it had to be MY country that killed it. I will never understand republicans. They don’t just seem ambivalent about the environment. They seem to actively hate it and want to destroy it, they take joy in destroying it.

   I don’t understand how one country can derail this?

   If the majority of countries are on board with production limits, then move forward with that and don’t purchase US produced plastics beyond a set limit.

   It is INSANE to let a singular country dictate an incredibly pressing environmental AND public health issue that affects ALL OF US. Like this isn’t just an environmental initiative, every single one of us is filled to the brim with microplastics. Microplastics are being passed to infants in utero for Christ sake.

   I’m so sick of this shit. Fuck the US with a white hot poker up the nostril.
